Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Who we are

The Creative Shift is run by The Creative Shift (ABN 82711690191), based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In these terms, "we" and "us" means that business. You can reach us at hello@thecreativeshift.com.au.

2. What you are joining

The Creative Shift is a paid membership for founders who make their own marketing creative. It includes ten modules, a weekly live Hot Seat on Wednesdays, Betty (our AI creative partner), a swipe file, an AI Sprint every six weeks, and a private community on Skool. By joining, you agree to these terms.

3. Who can join

You must be 18 or over and be running a business or creating marketing for one. One membership is for one person.

4. Price and billing

Membership is US297 per month or US2,844 per year. Prices are in US dollars and are billed through Skool and its payment provider. Any tax that applies is shown at checkout. Your membership renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the change affects you.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in your Skool settings or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

6. What we can and cannot promise

We teach how we look at creative, and we work through real examples with you. We cannot promise any result. What happens to your sales, leads or audience depends on your business, offer, market and spend. Nothing in the membership is legal, financial or tax advice.

The Hot Seat runs weekly on Wednesdays at 12.00 noon. This time may change. We may skip a week for holidays or illness and will tell you in advance where we can. Recordings are posted in Skool within 4 hours of the call. We may update, add to or reorganise the content over time.

7. Betty

Betty is an AI tool built on third-party AI technology. She can be wrong. She does not predict whether your content will work and does not tell you what to scale or stop. Those decisions are yours. Check everything Betty gives you before you publish it, especially claims, prices, and anything legal or health related.

Your Betty access code is personal to you. Do not share it. Do not enter passwords, payment details, or other people's personal or confidential information into Betty. We may limit or suspend access if use puts unreasonable strain on the service. Betty is provided as available, and there may be times she is down.

8. The Hot Seat and the community

If you bring your work to a Hot Seat, you give us permission to review it live, discuss it with other members, and include it in recordings shared inside the membership. We will not publish your work outside the membership without asking you first.

What other members share in the community is private to the community. Do not copy it, share it outside, or use it to compete with them. Be decent. No spam, no harassment, no selling to other members unless we have said it is allowed. If you seriously breach these rules we may remove you without refund.

9. Ownership

The modules, swipe file, templates, Betty and everything else we provide belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own business while you are a member. Do not copy, share, resell or redistribute them.

Your content, brand and business stay yours. You give us a limited licence to use what you submit only to run the membership, including the Hot Seat and Betty.

10. Your rights under Australian law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost opportunity.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you. Continuing to use the membership after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
